One that really caught my eye was the interview with Dan Cohen about the Digital Public Library of America.
This was very impressive, just to listen how they have collaborated with other institutions across the USA, and to get an insight into how this Executive Director operates is a great learning tool.
The library I am currently in is a cultural and heritage library I am not sure if podcasts would be something the users would need, as they are more policy and research, as their title is as heritage officer.
However for me to learn about their work it would be a good idea for me to search and lookout for podcasts that link to heritage within Ireland.
I don't think I would be starting my own podcast account anytime soon,
A good idea would be if a podcast did start up in Ireland as it would be a great way to bring all librarians together and we could learn from one another.
I always mean to allocate a hour every now and then to a webinar or a podcast and I never get to it, so this has given me a challenge. I will update my blog as soon as I have a podcast and a webinar done!
Just need to find the time now!
